Brother Andy,

Twitter is just one of many communications tools. Used wisely 140 char is more than enough to open the door to fuller communication of God's Word.

If Paul could have tweeted to the early churches, do you think he would have made use of twitter...in between emails and blog posts, that is? :-)

Frustrating as it may be at times, bro, We CAN plant, We CAN Water...but, ultimately, it is our Sovereign God who gives the increase.

Consider this...a twitter bread crumb trail led me to this comment box...

IHS,

Bruce

I don't know man. Because we know we can't fully change people, does that mean we can't try? and I don't mean, beat them upside the head with the Bible or anything.. I mean.. the thought, "It's up to God." is true, but at the same time are we not the body of Christ, so shouldn't we think about this stuff, and try to be proactive as opposed to staying stagnant and repeating, "God has this, God has this."

I do get your point... but at the same time.. I have a problem with it.. you know?

You keep thinking bro, keep the notes and turn it into a book someday. Title it, "Your life: In 140 Characters".
People are gonna be people.....they're gonna be sinners....they're gonna do whatever is popular. That's a fact. Can you or me stop it? No! It will continue to get faster and shorter, with different methods of making that work, or the cycle will turn, people will figure out it doesn't work and it will slow down. In the end, does it even matter? If I plant seeds for Salvation in a sermon of 60 minutes or in a Twitter line, I still planted seeds, right? You keep doing what you're doing; living your life as much like He did as possible and people will have no choice but to notice.
Now then, whether God chooses to use your actions to move them, is up to Him.
Bottom line of my lil rant here: Don't stress over things you can't control with your own hands or mouth.
I see what you do, and I'm not the only schmuck reading; you know what you do, and most importantly, God sees what you do. Period! At the end of the day, that is enough.
