Are you frickin kidding me!?!?!

I got this image E-mailed to me yesterday.  At first, I thought eh, poor taste, I’m gonna just ignore it.  As this image festered in me a little more I decided I cannot simply let this roll off of my shoulders.

I make it a point to not blog about politics.  There are people out there who know WAY more than me, and I would probably look like a fool.  Plus, I want to spread love, and I DO NOT believe that politics is always the best way to do that.

This picture is not political. This picture is SICK.  This picture is the most disgusting, distasteful picture I have ever received in my inbox.  Who you are voting for should not affect how this image makes you feel.  I want to throw up.  When I look at this image, I feel like I need a shower to wash off the dirtiness of the racism this country still holds.

Is this funny to some of you? Does this sway votes?  Do people really find this to be in “good tastes”?  I don’t know how long I am going to leave this picture posted.  I don’t care who you are voting for.   This picture is trying to undo what this country has struggled through, and every person has felt backlash from for years.

    Although this is disgusting, as “one party” falls further behind in the polls, these pictures and emails will only get worse.
    Very sad, but YES, it will sway votes….Just not the way they’re intended to sway them.

    I agree that this is disgusting. I’m definitely a firm believer that discrimination has no place in America. Even though I don’t generally follow politics, I actually registered to vote this year because I have strong opinions about who I would prefer NOT to be president (or VP more accurately). I can’t believe sometimes that some (or possibly most) of America has refused to accept diversity.

    let’s be fair though, there’s a lot of this kind of crap coming from the other side as well.

    it’s not a conservative vs liberal issue, it’s an idiot/racist/sexist issue.

    I agree. I know this stuff is coming from both sides. That’s why I said, this is not a political issue… It’s a sickening “vomitus”issue. I just can’t stand this crap.

    This is why I don’t like getting into politics, it brings out the worst in people.

    So, yesterday, my mother in law told us that God will probably punish this country by allowing Barack Obama to be president. Now, I am not personally voting for Obama, but it has NOTHING to do with the color of his skin. There is a LOT of racism out there, and we get forwards from my hubby’s family all of the time reflecting that racism. It’s really sad. I met a woman this summer who said that if we elect “that black” that there will be race riots again. Did I mention this woman was an educator? Can there honestly be people afraid to even consider a black candidate because of violent repercussions? Not sure how on topic this is, Andy, but you got me thinking :-)
